Playing Texas Holdem Poker

At the beginning of every Texas Holdem poker, the dealer in the game mixes the 52 cards in a normal deck. In most casinos and poker rooms, the dealer does not take part on the game. But when there is an absence of a dealer especially during home poker games, it can be self dealt.

The dealer changes every game in a clockwise direction. In Dealer game, a disc called the Dealer Button is given in a clockwise direction from player to player at every game.

The Dealer button is given to the player that will be the dealer for that round if the poker game is self-dealt. The Dealer button was previously named the "Buck" after a buck knife. There are no antes required from players in Texas Holdem but there are two mandatory wagers called Blinds.

The game begins with the two players seated on the left side of the dealer or the button placing an amount of cash or the blinds into the cash pot before any cards are given out, making sure that there will be something to play for in each had.

In Texas Holdem poker tournaments, this is enlarge in a pattern to increase the chances of player elimination. The small blind, which is the player that is seated to the left side of the dealer, puts down half of the minimum wager. The player on the left side of the small blind is called the big blind, which places the full minimum wager. Each player is given a pair of cards in the face down position (the Hole Cards).

These poker card hand may be compose a pair of hole cards and three of the board cards, a single hole card or four board cards. The player that has this card hand wins the cash pot. The first round of happens after the dealer gives out the cards.

The 1st player to player is the one seated to the left side of the large or big blind. In games that are not considered to be a tournament type, players can choose to be a 3rd blind by placing a wager of double that of the large blind before the cards are given out. This is called as the Straddle.

The 1st one to suspect or the person that is seated on the left side of the large blind or straddler has three choices. These choices are to call, to raise and to fold. If the player wants to call, the player can then put down a wager that is the same with the large blind or the straddle.

If the player wants to raise then they should put down additional money. The size of this money differs with the variation of the game that is played. In limit poker games, this is fixed money and may be limited after a number of games.

If the player wants to fold, they can put down their cards in a face down position in the table and then push them in the middle where they composed the Muck. If any card is affected by the Muck then it classified as folded.

The player cannot take part on the card hands all of the wagers that they have made are considered forfeited. All of the players in the table have the same options, plus the chance to ReRaise. The ReRaise in the game must be the same as the last Raise.
